Unshorten a pqno.app link
Paste a pqno.app short link and click Unshorten to see its destination domain and the preview notices before opening the page.
How to check the destination domain
The domain appears in capital letters to make it easier to compare with the site you expect to visit. For example, PAYPAL.COM and PAYPAI.COM are different addresses, even though they may look alike in some fonts.
Also check for numbers replacing letters and similar-looking characters from other alphabets. The letter O and the number 0 remain different even in capitals.
The preview highlights the main domain, such as EXAMPLE.COM, without displaying subdomains, the URL path or query parameters.
What the preview checks
- Domain characters: accented letters or letters from other alphabets and the encoded form of the address, when present.
- URL format: an IP address instead of a site name, an unusual port or information before @.
- Connection: HTTPS with a valid certificate, an HTTP connection or a failed check.
- Redirects: a change of domain identified when checking the destination.
- Downloads: signs that the link delivers a file, such as .APK or .EXE, based on the address and the server response.
- Domain registration: the registration date, when available. Domains registered less than 30 days ago receive a notice so you can check the address more carefully.
How to interpret the preview notices
HTTPS protects data during the connection, but does not confirm that the site belongs to the company you expect or that its content is trustworthy. A new domain deserves attention, but its age alone does not prove fraud.
The preview checks information about the address and connection without analysing the page content or running files. The check may be incomplete or reflect an earlier result; the destination may also change afterwards.
If the domain does not match the site you expect, or the page asks for a password, verification code or payment without a clear reason, stop browsing and report the link.
