pqno.app acceptable use rules

Acceptable use policy for pqno.app short links, Link in Bio pages, QR codes and API. This version takes effect on 8 October 2026.

1. Scope and responsibility

These rules apply to creating, publishing and distributing content through pqno.app, including through the API and tools available without an account. They cover destination URLs, redirects and the text, images, videos and links published on Link in Bio pages.

Anyone publishing content must hold the rights and permissions needed to use it and comply with applicable law. This obligation continues when a link destination or external content changes after creation. Each party's responsibility, including pqno.app's, is determined under the law.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

The service must not be used to create, distribute, facilitate access or redirect to the content and activities described below.

Fraud, phishing and impersonation

Pages, messages or files intended to obtain data, credentials or payments through deception, including by imitating banks, stores, public bodies or other services. This includes fake offers, fraudulent payment requests and using another person's identity to mislead others.

Malware and attacks on systems

Distribution of viruses, ransomware, spyware or other code intended to compromise devices, capture data, gain unauthorised access or disrupt services. Attacking pqno.app's infrastructure or bypassing its security controls and usage limits is also prohibited.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation

Content that depicts, simulates, promotes or facilitates sexual abuse or exploitation of children and adolescents, including digitally produced or altered material. In addition to reporting it to pqno.app, contact the relevant authorities or a reporting hotline in your country, listed by INHOPE. In Brazil, you can also report it to SaferNet.

Discrimination, violence and threats

Threats, stalking, incitement to violence or terrorism, and content promoting discrimination or hostility against people or groups based on race, colour, ethnicity, religion, origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Content encouraging suicide or self-harm is also prohibited.

Illegal trade and activities

Offering or arranging products and services prohibited by law, such as illegal drugs, forged documents, stolen credentials, unlawfully obtained personal data and counterfeit goods. This also covers weapons and other regulated products sold without the required authorisations.

Privacy violations and intimate content

Disclosure of personal data in violation of the law, including to threaten, stalk or place someone at risk. Sharing images, videos or other records of private nudity or sexual acts without the permission of those involved is prohibited, as are intimate manipulated images used to expose them.

Spam and abusive distribution

Using links in unsolicited messaging campaigns, automated comments or other forms of mass distribution that violate the law or the rules of the channel used. Recreating links, using other accounts or changing destinations to bypass moderation measures is prohibited.

Copyright and intellectual property infringement

Making works, software, courses and other material available or distributing them without permission, a licence or a legal basis allowing that use. This also covers misuse of trademarks and other intellectual property rights, subject to statutory limitations and exceptions.

3. Reports and removal requests

To report a short link, use the Report a link page and provide its address and the reason. For Link in Bio pages, QR codes or requests requiring additional information, email contato@pqno.app or use the contact page.

The request must identify the specific address or content, explain the violation and provide the information available for review. For requests concerning another person's rights, explain your connection to the case and, where necessary, your status as the rights holder or representative. Avoid sending unnecessary personal data or files containing illegal material.

Requests to remove private nudity or sexual acts shared without permission must allow the material to be identified and the requester's standing to be verified, under Article 21 of Brazil's Internet Civil Framework. Reporting to pqno.app does not replace contacting authorities or the service hosting the external content.

4. Review and moderation measures

The team considers the information available, the nature of the violation, the risk of harm and repeated conduct. A report alone does not determine that a link will be taken down. Moderation may follow a report, the identification of abuse, or compliance with a legal obligation or court order.

  • Link suspension: stops redirection and displays a suspended-link page.
  • Link deletion: removes the link from the service, depending on the severity or recurrence of the violation.
  • Domain blocking: prevents redirection through links whose stored destination is the blocked domain or one of its subdomains, as well as new links to those addresses.
  • Account suspension in the shortener: stops the account's links and Link in Bio page and prevents new links from being created.
  • Closing a report without action: ends the review when no violation justifying a measure is identified.

Urgent measures may be taken before the owner responds to stop a risk or comply with a legal requirement. When an account and contact details are available, its owner is notified through the dashboard and by email of the measure and the reason, subject to legal or court-ordered restrictions.

These measures apply to pqno.app's resources and do not remove pages or files hosted by third parties. A QR code using a short link stops redirecting when that link is suspended; a static QR code containing an external URL directly does not depend on that redirect, and blocking does not change an image already distributed.

5. Requesting a review

The owner may request a review by emailing contato@pqno.app or using the contact page. Provide the affected link, domain or account, explain why you dispute the measure and submit information supporting the request.

The team reassesses the measure based on the information provided. A request does not restore access automatically; suspended links, blocked domains and accounts may be reinstated where justified, subject to applicable legal requirements or court orders.

6. Report data and privacy

The report record includes the link, destination, reason, submitted description and, if provided, an email address for the response. An identifier derived from the IP address is used to limit repeated submissions and is removed from the record by the cleanup process after 30 days. Email is optional and removed from that record when the review is closed; this does not mean immediate deletion from messages, delivery logs or backups.

The reporter's email address is not disclosed to the link owner. Processing data and any disclosure to authorities must observe purpose limitation, necessity and legal requirements, including those specific to access logs. Preservation obligations and court orders may require data to be retained.

To ask about the processing of your data or exercise your rights under Brazil's LGPD, contact contato@pqno.app.

7. Applicable law and updates

These rules apply together with Brazilian law, particularly the Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014) and the General Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018), with regard to the rights of children and adolescents, intellectual property and consumer protection rules where applicable.

Contractual moderation and compliance with notices and court orders follow the law and binding court interpretations applicable to each case. This policy does not exclude statutory responsibilities or restrict the right to seek assistance from authorities or the courts.

Changes to this policy will be published on this page with the effective date of the new version.
