Getting started
Getting started
Set up your API token and create your first short link.
Use the pqno.app API to create and manage short links, retrieve click statistics, and generate QR codes from your application. API access is available on the Pro and Business plans.
Set up API access
- Sign in to the pqno.app dashboard and open API.
- Under Generate token, select Links and enter a label, such as “Store website”.
- Choose an expiration period, from 24 hours to 1 year, and generate the token.
- Copy the token and store it on your server in the
PQNO_TOKENenvironment variable. The token is displayed only once.
On Business, a company administrator must generate the company token. See Authentication for each plan's access scope and instructions on replacing or revoking tokens.
Base URL
https://pqno.app/admin/api
Append the endpoint path to this URL. For example, creating a link uses /encurtar-link/criarlink. Use HTTPS for production requests.
Create your first link
After setting PQNO_TOKEN, run this cURL example:
curl -sS -X POST "https://pqno.app/admin/api/encurtar-link/criarlink" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $PQNO_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"url": "https://example.com/offer"}'
A successful request returns HTTP 201. In the JSON response, dados.url_curta is the URL to share and dados.id identifies the link in subsequent requests. See Create a link for the full parameter reference and examples.
Choose your next operation
- Get a link retrieves a link by ID or code.
- List links searches links and returns paginated results.
- Update a link changes its destination, code, title, or description.
- Delete a link removes a link and its click data.
- Link statistics retrieves daily click counts.
- Account summary returns account metrics and API usage.
- Generate a QR code returns a PNG or SVG image.
Prepare for production
Implement error handling and monitor your usage limits. The pagination and filters and saving a QR code image guides provide complete examples.
Endpoint paths, JSON field names, and error messages remain in Portuguese in both versions of this documentation.
Example IDs and URLs are illustrative. Replace them with values from your account.
